Previously he was one of the founding members of BAE Systems’ Asset Management Organisation (AMO) starting in 1993 and ultimately headed up the commercial activities for the BAe146 portfolio. As Head of Corporate Finance he was responsible for all financial risks associated with the portfolio at the time, culminating in the Financial Risk Insurance Programme (FRIP) in 1998 which isolated the performance of its existing portfolio from any future risk and volatility in the regional aircraft market.
